Steve Bane is a founder and man­ag­ing part­ner of Bane O’Leary Finan­cial Group, a full-service inde­pen­dent finan­cial ser­vices firm with offices in Phoenix, AZ. And Edina, MN. Since 1999 Steve has spe­cial­ized in work­ing with pre-retirees and retirees offer­ing proven, tar­geted invest­ment and plan­ning solu­tions based on his client’s spe­cific and per­sonal objec­tives.  His goal is to cre­ate trust with each client by edu­cat­ing them about finan­cial plan­ning solu­tions based on his expe­ri­ence and in-depth knowl­edge of prod­ucts, strate­gies and cur­rent eco­nomic conditions.

He holds an Exec­u­tive MBA and BS degree in Geol­ogy along with insur­ance and Series 7 and 63 secu­ri­ties licenses. Steve is reg­is­tered in Ari­zona and six other states for the con­ve­nience of his clients. He is ded­i­cated to cre­at­ing effec­tive solu­tions in the areas of retire­ment and estate plan­ning, asset allo­ca­tion and invest­ment man­age­ment, as well as life, dis­abil­ity and long-term care insur­ance cov­er­age. Prior to enter­ing the finan­cial ser­vices indus­try Steve served in exec­u­tive man­age­ment posi­tions with Amoco (Stan­dard Oil Co. of Indi­ana) and was Pres­i­dent of Amoco Aus­tralia and New Zealand Petro­leum Com­pany. He and his wife cur­rently reside in Scotts­dale, AZ.
